Tips for other travellers
Difficult times for those who want to things other than walk. We did not eat out (usually we would) other than walk, we only went to Hawes on Market Day and shocked that such a wonderful, vibrant market town was so quiet.

Ancient TV, and remote control was dodgy. Downstairs feels cold and damp, but fortunately, there is no need to be there. Overall, a great little place with stunning views, and comfortable.

Victoria House is about to be totally updated, as owner has bought the cottage next door, so it will become a much bigger house. I expect she will obviously also get a new TV, but when it's going to be out of action for at least the next 6 months, I think she thought it would wait until it has been revamped. Glad you liked it overall.

Friendly local tea room and pub which served very good meals. Many good walks from the doorstep.
