Very happy you enjoyed your holiday. Not sure why the location is only average, it's a lovely little hamlet in the middle of the countryside and there are great views upstairs.

Good pub food at Farmers Arms in Muker and Kings Head in Gunnerside.

Tips for other travellers

The circular walk Muker to Keld and back lovely, especially going clockwise on the Pennine Way path. Good cafe at the campsite in Keld and two interesting heritage buildings. Tea n scones at Muker on return very nice! Made use of the 'white' bus.
