Tips for other travellers

Little to add to the comprehensive information available on the website. Great, but limited, local facilities. Excellent local community pub, The Kings Head, excellent local beers and a comprehensive menu but you may well need to book a day ahead if eating. Lots of walks of all grades on your doorstep.

Tips for other travellers

The opening hours/days of cafe and pub meant we travelled more than anticipated. When open the food and drink in the pub was lovely.

Beautiful cosy cottage in friendly village. Very efficient friendly and personal booking system. Judith was great at explaining options for different villages / cottages and helping to make the right choice

Tips for other travellers

Gunnerside pub was serving excellent food and only a stones throw away. Explore upper Swaledale and the various high level routes to the next stunning valley of Wensleydale
