Judith was my contact for the booking and she answered all of my queries swiftly and politely. This was our second stay at Burnside Cottage in Gunnerside and we thoroughly enjoyed it again.

Tips for other travellers

Plenty of wonderful places to get to from the cottage, beautiful scenery. Pub is a 30 second walk over the bridge from the cottage and is very welcoming. Nice walks in easy access. Essential that you make sure you have plenty of fuel as petrol station is quite a drive away !

A lovely old cottage, well maintained and furnished, very clean, modern kitchen and entertainment centre, may need a little more setup info. Our second visit in 3 years hope to return.

Tips for other travellers

Local pub Kings Arms 50 yards away, good food, can be very busy, lots of places to see and do too numerous to list. Exciting driving around, tests your wits. Enjoy
