We love this place. The cottage is perfect for us and location is fab. In the heart of the sales with great views and places to visit and walk. Been coming here for years now and will return.

Tips for other travellers

Hardware force, inflection falls, Hawes, Leyburn, kings head pub across road from cottage is fab and food amazing. Muker and it’s tearoom amazing food and shop. Reeth is great too. So many and more if you want to drive out. We went to Whitby and york.

Good, clear friendly communication prior to stay. Enjoyed the fact that the cottage was comfortable and not over gentrified - good for children and dogs. Nice bedding.

Kings Head pub in Gunnerside village - great beer good food, child and dog friendly. Good local walks straight from the cottage.

Really lovely stay again! Love the cottage, everything was very comfortable! I think we have stayed in this cottage 5 times. But this time I had to hoover certain areas before settling in! No big deal just thought I would mention it

Great place to stay! Visit Leyburn if you have time! Pub opposite it great, also the Punch Bowl is very good.
