Fantastic cottage with a stunning view across Glenshee. The online images of this cottage don’t give an accurate representation of the quality and warmth of the place. We spent two beautiful mornings in the hot tub looking out across the view and watching the nature, perfect. The garden was ideal for our two dogs, completely enclosed and felt so safe. The log burner gave a wonderful cosy feel in the evenings, topped off with a late night dip in the hot tub to see an amazing display of stars. Amazing stay!

Had a lovely meal at the Bridge of Cally hotel, far surpassed our expectations and would urge anyone to try it. Also had lunch at the Glenshee visitor centre, a simple menu with excellent quality. Walked with our dogs around Auchintaple loch and also Pitcarmick loop from Kirkmichael, both beautiful and could have the dogs off leads the whole way. Couldn’t walk from the door of the cottage, but enjoyed a nice walk from Cray two minutes drive north.

A lovely, welcoming and comfortable holiday cottage in a fabulous location. The Groose Hoose is fitted out to a high quality and is very well-equipped. The hot tub was brilliant and it's views are stunning. The on-line guide was extremely helpful and full of useful tips. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout. We would absolutely stay again.

The kitchen is really well-equipped so you'll have everything you need to be able to cook proper meals. The honesty shop is a brilliant addition, with lots of useful essentials in case you have forgotten anything crucial. We recommend trying the Paul Newman ready meals from the honesty shop freezer if you get tired of cooking. They are delicious. A significant cut above your average ready meal. Pack your walking boots! We walked every day and had a great time. The climb up Mount Blair is well worth doing (despite the horizontal hail at the top), Glen Clova is stunning and there are loads of great walks just off the road between the cottage and Braemar. Gin tasting at the Persie Distillery is a lovely, fun thing to do. The gins are excellent and you can feel good as you sip since the distillery raises funds for animal charities.
