We had such a good stay I had to think twice about sharing the place. Scots Pine Treehouse was an amazing property. Beautiful decor, and views that went on forever. The comms regarding our stay was informative and welcoming particularly the guide provided. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway.

We drove to Glenshea ski centre to capture some snow pics, then onwards to Braemar where we purchased a beautiful print from one of the local shops. Stopped off for a pot of tea n cake before heading back down to Balirgowrie. Lovely scenery along the route with lovely, friendly people. We spent much more time at the Treehouse, enjoying the hottub, surroundings and playing animal bingo as the wildlife is in abundance there.

Fantastic cottage with a stunning view across Glenshee. The online images of this cottage don’t give an accurate representation of the quality and warmth of the place. We spent two beautiful mornings in the hot tub looking out across the view and watching the nature, perfect. The garden was ideal for our two dogs, completely enclosed and felt so safe. The log burner gave a wonderful cosy feel in the evenings, topped off with a late night dip in the hot tub to see an amazing display of stars. Amazing stay!

Had a lovely meal at the Bridge of Cally hotel, far surpassed our expectations and would urge anyone to try it. Also had lunch at the Glenshee visitor centre, a simple menu with excellent quality. Walked with our dogs around Auchintaple loch and also Pitcarmick loop from Kirkmichael, both beautiful and could have the dogs off leads the whole way. Couldn’t walk from the door of the cottage, but enjoyed a nice walk from Cray two minutes drive north.
