A perfect location for a holiday in Scotland. The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious and the garden was large and very dog friendly. Our every need was catered for including a plentiful supply of logs for the wood burner. The honest shop is brilliant for emergency supplies.

We had the best holiday. Facilities were fantastic and the added bonus of the views just topped it all off. Can't wait to visit again.

Hetties Tea Room in Pitlochry was great for a cup of tea and cake, suitable for all dietary requirements.

Probably the best equipped self catering holiday accommodation we have stayed in. Everything you can think of is provided and all of good quality. We stayed in the Shepherds Hut which was clean and had great views from the secluded garden and hot tub. Communication was first class, with directions and where to park when you arrived clear and easily understood.

The nearby small Persie gin and vodka distillery worth a visit. Friendly staff and a few distinct flavours to sample. Littles Fish restaurant (they do serve other food) in the converted church in Blairgowrie is excellent. Reasonably priced, great food and friendly staff. Added bonus they have a carpark.

We had another wonderful stay in the Coo shed, with a small difference that this time the weather was stunning, making it even more amazing than normal. Usually, the hot tub weather-proofs the holiday and lets you get outside even if cold/wet but this time we didn’t need it as the weather was so sunny and warm! The cottage is scrupulously clean, really well equipped and comfortable, with fabulous views and wildlife all around. It is well placed for exploring the Cairngorms and Perthshire but also has shops near if you want anything. There is loads to do and is all in all just about perfect. We’ve stayed in many luxury cottages in Scotland and Dalnoid properties are up there with the best, which is why we keep coming back. Can’t fault anything.

The trip up the Glenshee chair lift and going for walks at the top on a sunny day is an experience that is hard to beat (especially if, like me, you can’t manage to get up a Munro under your own steam anymore!). The beaver safari with Perthshire wildlife was a highlight, seeing beavers in the wild as dawn was breaking was very special and will stay with me for a long time. We have done several of the walks in the Dalnoid info booklet and they are all superb. Glenshee is a great destination whatever the weather, but in the sunshine-wow! The meat from Glenkirie larder (next door farm) was exceptional-we had BBQs with their meat most nights, it was really delicious (and no air miles plus supporting local economy). Peel farm has a lovely tea room with excellent cakes/scones/lunches and a very nice gift shop. It is near the Loch of Lintrathen which is beautiful, great for birds and for kayaking (as is Loch of Clunie).
