Loved our relaxing stay at the Silber Birch Treehouse. There's a nescafe pod machine and a caffetiere for coffe and it has everything you need for cooking. No scales if you wanted to bake but everything else. I enjoyed my morning coffee down in the garden, watching the wildlife. Saw plenty grouse and what I think may have been a pinemartin in the evening on the deck which was a treat.

The wee Glenshee cafe up the road is handy and has some basics like bread and a few ready meal curries in the freezer. Their coffee is nice too and there's a gift shop. There's a fantastic deli in Blairgorie called the Cornerstone Deli, with a feast of things for picnics or a nice salad with cheese, meats and deli items.

There is scales in every property, the treehouses have small digital flat ones and are in the cupboard just tucked around the back and maybe just couldn't find them so do apologise. We do have alot of wildlife and in our honesty shop there is food for the animals and lots of essentials also and readymeals etc We do hope to see you again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Groos Hoos, the view is incredible and with the hot tub, the stars and the peace it was just what we needed away from the everyday. The only time we were greeted by our hosts was when checking on the hot tub or checking out, both friendly and helpful, other than that we were left to our own devices which was perfect for us and our dog. The garden was perfect for the dog fully enclosed and big enough to run around in. Would certainly recommend this place for relaxation and peace and quiet.

Tips for other travellers

There isn't anything on the door step but the hosts provide a handy honesty shop for necessities if you forget anything. We did a circular walk, Cargill's leap, which was lovely and along the river and close to Tesco and some lovely cafes. We ate at the bridge of Cally hotel one day but had to wait until 4pm for a chef to arrive even though the restaurant opens at 3. We could take the dog inside and the food was nice. The hosts guide to local amenities and walks was super helpful!

Just wow, everything you could possibly want from beautiful views to a gravy boat. Its hard to put into words how lovely silverbirch treehouse was. Definitely worth a visit.best place ive stayed in by far.

Turn right out the property drive for about 15 miles to the heart of the highlands. Lovely chair lift to the most amazing views. Keep going and youll be memorized by the views. Cairngorm mountain is definitely worth a visit. Take the train to the top the highest bar and restaurant in uk. So much to see and do but be prepared for some driving. So much to see and do i just wish I had another week.
