We had an amazing week at Silver Birch Treehouse. It was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for a perfect stay. In fact we didn’t want to leave. How lovely was it to wake up to such a fantastic view every morning. Leave the curtains open and watch the sun rise over the hills and hear the dawn chorus start regardless of weather. Nothing around for miles yet so much to see. We hope to come back but sadly the drive gets longer as you get older! P.S a long handled brush & pan would come in handy & perhaps bread bin.

Tips for other travellers

We visited Balmoral and loved it, a beautiful estate and to us worth the entrance fee. We visited the towns of Braemar, Ballater and Pitlochry each one different. Glenshee cafe is a must especially as so close by. Honesty shop on site is a great idea and holds quite a selection. Don’t miss the Kilted Baker on way Kirkmichael. It’s an honesty shed full of homebakes which are delicious. You can also purchase tea or coffee and sit outside either way your purchase in beautiful surroundings. But my best tip would be stay on site and just enjoy the wonderful surroundings. We loved it.

Thank you so so much for a fabulous review. We are so glad you love Silver Birch. We do provide hoovers instead of brooms and brushes as we feel they are cleaner and more appropriate. With bread bins, we had them before and just were never used. We do hope you can come and visit again.. we think it is worth the drive Thanks again!

We have stayed in the Silver Birch treehouse a number of times over the years and always look forward to our next visit, we absolutely love our stay here,it’s so relaxing it should be on prescription for your mental health and wellbeing!

Braemar, Ballater, Blairgowrie, all worth a visit , plenty of good walks and food. Pitlochry Festival Theatre always a good evening

Tips for other travellers

We stayed here and went into Pitlochry on a couple of days. Not a long drive but the roads are very windy, which could be challenging especially in poor weather conditions.
