Friendly and personnable company when booking and responding to any queries. Facilities: Needs more breakfast bowls (deep) as only 2 were big/deep enough to take microwaved porridge. Shower very noisy with a variety of high pitched squeals most of the time!

Pub only 25 metres away with good food and drink. Closed Mon + Tues. Good walks in all directions from the cottage, notably to Keld and Gunnerside.
