Always a pleasure to stay in a Cat Hole Cottages property. Low Rigg was a particular delight as it had such a great garden. Pity the weather did not allow it to be enjoyed. Summerhouse was a good alternative...

Tips for other travellers

Hopefully the Farmers Arms will be back in operation very soon and the bee Community owners maintain it's high quality. There are too many things to recommend. Excellent walks from the front door abound, try the Corpses Way either up to Keld or down to Gunnerside and a trip over the Buttertubs pass into Hawes is a lead a delight but pick a fair weather day for the views.

Tips for other travellers

Upper Swaledale is ideal for walkers and nature lovers. Numerous pubs and cafes in Muker, Keld and Gunnerside on walking routes. Great area for bird-watching both along the river and up on the high fells.
