Host very welcoming and friendly. POD was lovely and clean and does have TV if you need it. Views amazing. Shower pod very clean as well and shower lovely and hot and powerful. No on site shop but washing up facilities good. Great if you just want to get away from it all.

Tips for other travellers

We didn’t go into the local village but did ride into Whitby for fish and chips. Lovely views and wonderful chorus of birds singing. Very relaxing. Very remote so you need to take food / drink either you or venture out.

We (family of 4 2 adults 2 kids) have just returned home from the best few nights away at Partridge nest pods. The location is absolutely stunning, with so much grass area for the kids to play amd run around. The host even had toys there for us to borrow, balls, cricket set etc. We had such a warm welcome from Maggie who is lovely and made us all feel very welcome. The facilities are spotlessly clean. We will definitely be recommending Partridge nest pods to friends and family.

What an amazing find this was!! We had a brilliant chilled out relaxed bank holiday weekend. The pod was in a great relaxing location & the facilities were all spotlessly clean. The pod was so cosy & we can't wait to come back. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome.

Tips for other travellers

Wheatsheaf in Egton is definitely worth a visit, the food is delicious. We went into Whitby for the day via train from Sleights & returned in a taxi. Ate at Crocodile but booked beforehand & the food was great. Falling foss waterfalls is worth a visit & they serve amazing fresh scones. Posh pod had tea, coffee & sugar, although we had brought our own but an added bonus. Hire some logs, the chiminea is great for chilled out evenings watching & listening to nature & wildlife.
