Mosedale End Farm is a fantastic place to stay. We booked the pod which was fantastic, it had everything you need and more, the hosts are amazing and left some sweet treats in the fridge for us which were delicious. We would definitely recommend a stay at Mosedale End Farm.

If you stay at Mosedale End Farm I would recommend The Horse And Farrier in Threlkeld, it has amazing pub food and a beautiful atmosphere.

This is one of the most pleasant, well thought out and restful places I've ever stayed. I genuinely did not want to go home. It was utterly silent at night and so dark you could not see your hand in front of your face. It was warm and cosy, and... Well, just perfect. I will definitely be back.

My only tip? Spend some time in the room. Relax there. It's wonderfully peaceful and sometimes that's what we really need. There are lots of useful brochures and helpful guidance from the owners in the room... But do enjoy the room! 😊

We have stayed with Jo many times. Lovely rooms with everything you need. Snacks and pack lunch options available. Room has small kitchen area and microwave / toaster which is very handy. Will hopefully stay again

20 minutes from Keswick. If Wainwright's are you thing it's perfect for Carrick Fell and back o Skiddaw. Blencathra fells a 5 minute drive to the village hall at Mungrisedale. Perfect little base for Keswick and surrounding area.

JoAnne is a very friendly and helpful host the facilities are really good everything I needed and more. Particularly taken with feeding the chucks got a nice video. Within a nice leisurely walk of a Pub for an evening meal out if you don't want to drive and the weather is fine.

Was provided with a leaflet of local walks and there are plenty more to photograph if you are so inclined. As the weather was very hot enjoyed a couple of trips up to the Tarn once there and back the same way. The second time a round trip. Both enjoyed the rural area of the place nice and quiet. Drove on the last day to a nice pub called The Crown Inn for Sunday afternoon.
