Delightful cottage, friendly and welcoming owner, and exceptionally good breakfast. Bedroom and sitting room are comfortable with lots of reading material in addition to standard TV and tea/coffee facilities. Cottage sits in a wonderful garden on the edge of the local golf course.

Close to river Tay and village shop, with 2 hotels on the river with good dining and high class chocolate shop for chocoholics. Only 5 miles to Aberfeldy, and about the same distance again to Loch Tay and the facilities in Kenmore. Similar distance to Pitlochry.

Mouse Cottage is beautiful cottage set on the edge of the golf course, peaceful haven and being away from traffic was bliss, we stayed two nights at Minnie Mouse self catering, Penny and her wee dog ticket were the most fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Penny is warm and friendly and greeted us with wine and the most delicious carrot cake and also access to her stunning garden. Minnie Mouse was stunning, everything we needed and spotlessly clean, big comfy bed, cute Elfin kitchen and amazing walk in shower. It’s such a relaxing space and added bonus was a fab sitoouterie. Loved all the decor, Penny’s art and lovely touches, such an interesting lady and clearly an expert in her field. Thanks for having us Penny and Ticket we will be back at Mouse Cottage soon 🐭 xx

We visited Grandtully Hotel for dinner on both nights but would also recommend The Inn on the Tay when it reopens. A short walk from Mouse Cottage takes you to a lovely walk and waterfall. A visit to the Highland Chocolaiter is always a must, delicious hot chocolate and chocolates. We visited Aberfeldy for the day, lots of beautiful shops, recommend Glen Lyon for coffee, Ballintaggart Farm Shop to stock up on interesting wine and provisions, and lunch at the Watermill. Cluny Gardens is worth a visit and Dunkeld for walks and Aaron Bakery or the Taybank Hotel for food. Lots to do and see around the area outdoor sports and beautiful walks.
