Osprey Meadow Holiday Cottages

Orchard Cottage was perfect for our needs. Lovely quiet peaceful surroundings and the cottage had everything you needed. Our stay was short due to visiting friends over from Australia, but we would love to return to explore more of Yorkshire.

Stayed in Orchard Cottage , location is lovely and peaceful. Cottage was well equipped, recreation field was good for families especially with pets. All in all we had a lovely couple of nights whilst in the area for a wedding.

Hi Lisa and Phil, We had a lovely time staying at the Millers Cottage!! It was a holiday for my dogs more than myself, and my parents came along. Phil, I think you met Rex who was the small terrier who barked a lot, at everything and everyone! We adopted Rex from my partners brother, whose terrier had a litter during the first lockdown. Rex had basically no interactions with other people or dogs (apart from our old lab, Milo, the lovely one) for nearly two years during that time, so he didn’t learn what he should have. Rex has always been anxious and scared of anything new - which comes out of him as aggression (barking etc), but he’s just a scaredy-cat. Even though he was out of his comfort zone, he had the best time! I know you kept your two dogs away as much as you could whilst we were sat out, which I appreciate. Rex is 5 in September and I doubt he’ll get any better - he is who he is. But he loved it at the Osprey Meadow! He was so tired on the Saturday when I got back that he slept all day! (Milo did too but he’s 12!) You have great holiday cottages, especially for those who want to stay with dogs. The only criticism we had was the oven. The bottom rubber seal was loose and the top oven didn’t work very well
