Georgina, Jason, and Conor always very welcoming, can't do enough to help us and our dogs. Very informative about the area.

Take time to appreciate where you are, don't be too busy looking to travel around. Look out for Red Kites, they practise their flying skills in the fields in front of the Camping Pods. Lots of other birds can be seen and heard. The night sky is beautiful on a clear night as there is very little false light interference.

We had a wonderful stay. Made very welcome and you went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and stress free as possible. The facilities and support to cater for our dog’s was 5 star. Nothing was too much trouble .

We didn’t go anywhere as it was just a shirt break but we very much enjoyed just relaxing with the spectacular views. We did a short bike ride, but you need to be really fit to ride a bike round the hills without getting off.

What can I say! Another brilliant visit. Pencastell views is still THE most dog friendly place we have ever visited. The pods have an enclosed outside space & visitors have access to the secure field & barn on site too. It’s totally stress free & homely. Stunning views, brilliant location, clean accommodation & impressive facilities inside the pods. Georgina and Jason go above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. We opted for the slow cooked stew on arrival (which is delicious!!) and a fire pit for the duration of our stay too. We were able to meet their huskies in the field on our last evening & our dogs had a play with some of them too, what a treat! We will without a doubt be back again and recommend to anyone visiting Wales, especially dog lovers! We had such a lovely time. Thanks again!! Melissa, Justin & Eli + Jack, Charlotte & Rico xx

Pencastell is a brilliant dog friendly holiday location in Wales. Our four large German Shepherd crosses had a great time. The owners are very knowledgeable about dogs and have catered for the needs of dog families. It is also perfect if you’re a biker or just looking for a lovely retreat in the Welsh hills. Highly recommended!!
