I was cycling Lands End to John o’Groats so I was staying at a different destination each day, Helmsdale Lodge Hostel was by far my favourite stop over! It was spotlessly clean, the room was perfect and en suite, a lovely environment to be in and the hospitality shown by Marie was excellent! Would I stay again if I was in the area? Yes 100%

The warden Marie was super friendly and helpful. The hostel was well equipped and really well looked after. Will definitely be back.

I had a very welcoming stay at Helmsdale after a tough day on the bike. I highly recommend it, the shared kitchen and lounge is really convenient and I met lovely people.
