Tips for other travellers

Helmsdale is small but when I was there (End of Sept 25) there was a well-stocked village shop Open every day including Sunday.

Fantastic place to stay. We are always made to feel welcome and at home. Facilities are top class. I would highly recommend this hostel and can't wait to go back.

Tips for other travellers

We use this hostel as a staging point on the NC500. we normally travel as a group of bikers. Just be careful on entering the gate on a motorbike as there's gravel at the entrance and can get quite unsteady underfloor.
