Just fantastic! What a find in Bute, we will definitely be back, so sad to leave. It was like living in a show house.

Where do we start, you must take time to visit the beaches. Scalpsie and Etterick Bay, the farmers market in Bute Brewery, on all day till 8 at night! The Pavillion restaurant for huge portions of homely cooking, which seems to be the locals secret eating place. Gillies which is part of the Victoria hotel for a friendly relaxed meal. You'll have to put book of you want to eat at The Black Bull pub. So many places to sight see.

You provide very tasteful and comfortable accommodation with spectacular views and thoughtful extra touches. Communication is great. We were confident that our host would be nearby should we have any questions during our stay. The very easy access to the apartment was appreciated as was provision of bread, cereals, juice, spreads and yoghurt to start our day.

Bute without a car is remarkably easy when theYou really the bus service is so reliable. The 24 hour mobile bus ticket, booked via the West Coast Motors app is great value. You can enjoy several different places within a day such as Kilchattan Bay, Ettrick Bay, port Bannatyne and Mount Stuart. When visiting the latter, it’s good to checkon their website if they have any closures due to special events. The bus provides an almost door-to door service. You can visit St Blaine’s Chapel by getting off the bus at The Kingarth Hotel and walking up the hill, then turning left down Plan Road/Lane. The Anchor Tavern in Port Ballantine had live music on Thursday nights and menus are available to order in food.
