Location is excellent for visiting areas of interest and with the steam railway which can be seen running across from the site

Whilst we didn’t see our hosts everything was clearly communicated to us. Beautiful site & surroundings making for a peaceful & relaxed stay.

Tips for other travellers
Lots of walks from the site. Royal Oak in Gretton is an easy walk away, dog friendly, serves good beer. Plenty of outdoor seating offering fab views.

WiFi would be a bonus as the tv reception is poor. Most people these days stream tv programmes.
