Just spent 2 weeks at Elms Farm. Really lovely and peaceful break well located to visit the surrounding Cotswolds. Fully serviced pitches and a few bits and pieces available at the box shop. Dog friendly, so much so our collie didn’t want to go home! Rose popped by to say hello and was very welcoming providing information about walks from site. Loved watching the steam trains going past from the pitch, enjoyed this even more when we travelled to Winchcombe for a return trip to Cheltenham. Dark skies topped it off being able to view the Luna Eclipse from site. Thoroughly recommend a visit

Gardener’s Arms in Alderton was very friendly and welcoming including fur babies. Broadway Tower and a ride on the steam train is worth a visit too! Royal Oak pub is walking distance from site with stunning views. Plus visits to Bourton on the water and Stow on Wold.

The CL is ideally placed for visiting lots of the Cotswolds villages , some of our favourites are Burford, Broadway, Bourton on Water, if visiting Burford go to the church beautiful and adjacent they serve food, you can take your dogs into the eatery . Pub in the village very good for food.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay, thank you very much! It was very peaceful and beautiful. It was such a delight that you have the freight wagon so Ben could come a stay with us independently. He absolutely loved it as did Joseph. We will definitely be back! Many thanks, Jacqui and Chris.

Sudely Castle is a must! The Royal Oak is great but do book a table with the view!

Elms farm is the most relaxing, quiet cl site we know of. Stunning views across the fields to the village and the steam train. Immaculately cut grass it is like pitching on a lawn.

All the usual sightseeing venues are close by, but pop into the Shutters or ye old oak for a delicious meal if you don't want to cook.
