Karen made us more than welcome to kirkgate house. Perfectly central to everything around. Rooms well stocked with drinks and goodies. The room was also a nice size with lovely en suite backing on to the back garden and partial view of the castle ruins. Can not expect anything more. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Karen is amazing, so friendly. The room was great and the bed was so comfortable. And the breakfast was gorgeous

Tips for other travellers

Karen recommended that we eat at Zolsha which was a good recommendation. David also recommended that we go into the Castle grounds, which has very impressive views out over the river. We also did a walk along the South side of the Nidd Gorge, also recommended.
