Robert and Karen are very good hosts. The breakfast was excellent. the thoughtfulness that had gone into the little extras in our room was really appreciated. It is very central and I would definitely recommend.

Quiet, central location is excellent, walking distance to everything in Knaresborough (railway station, buses, river, square, shops) Breakfast involved a variety of delicious choices served in a quiet pleasant and well setup breakfast room. Robert could not do enough for us with his helpful welcoming but not intrusive hosting. Our 4 day stay was a complete pleasure.

Marigold Cafe by the river is very good. The walk by the river is not to be missed. Blind Jack's Pub on the square is a fun experience Drake's Fish and Chip restaurant is also excellent. The gardens and park by the castle are lovely.
