Knaresborough is steeped in history. There are some nice shops and it’s a great place for walking.

We really enjoyed our stay with you as you made us feel so welcome. The bottle of milk in the fridge was an unexpected bonus, and we loved the biscuits and chocolate. Breakfast was outstanding, and we couldn't be more complimentary about the room and the quietness of the location.

Knaresborough is a lovely town with lots of quirky shops. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within short walking distance of Kirkgate House. The castle is only a 5 minute walk away and worth a visit. Mother Shipton's cave is a must do and worth the entry fee.
