absolutely top notch stay - host was very friendly and approachable, and would try to accommodate any requests. We were in the 4 poster room which was excellent - comfy bed, stunning bathroom - lovely room. Breakfast was also excellent and extremely good value. Hotel was also very quiet at night and in a lovely area. We would definitely come back here to stay again should we be coming to Torquay in the future.

Tips for other travellers

Bus stop into town centre is right outside the hotel so very convenient, although the town itself is pretty run down, the harbour area and seafront is nice.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Westgate. Lee was very accommodating. Rooms were very good and breakfast was excellent. Definitely will stay again

Tips for other travellers

If you are driving and parking a lot in Torbay, get a Torbay parking permit, we'll worth it. Best restaurant to eat at is Amici, cannot fault them
