For an equine holiday its just fantastic. Fantastic beach, fantastic hacking from the site, fantastic paddocks. Shops and restaurants close by. Great hosts.

Tips for other travellers

Our favourite restaurant is the Piebald Inn. When riding at the beach, take a picnic, drinks and some chairs to make a day of it, park your horsebox on the grass field not along side the sandy track with the cars at Fraisthorpe beach car park. Or come off the beach just after the lifeguard hut and there a bar to get a drink and some benches overlooking the sea where the horses can graze a little whilst you take a breather for a moment.

Beautiful cottages very home from home. Everything you need and more - lovely home baked chocolate cake on arrival - absolutely delicious. Location nice and quiet, lovely places to ride horses. Equally close to a quiet clean beach and other things to do in the area.

Helen is the most professional and friendly host, beautiful freshly baked cake on arrival, the accommodation is second to none. We take our horses and the safety of them is so important to Helen, choice of both stable and paddock. Lovely beaches to ride to and great walks for the dogs. We absolutely love staying here and have recommended it to all our friends
