Pheasant's Roost and Rose Cottage

Really enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage ! Delightful, quaint and fitted out with everything you could need for a wonderful stay. The location is amazing ! Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet only minutes from the A64 and access to all the local places to visit. Pauline & Jim are so lovely and without being intrusive, were always available should we need anything. I would 100% recommend Rose Cottage to anyone without hesitation. Paul, Liz n Marley 🐾

We had a lovely stay. Really peaceful and relaxing. Fantastic for dogs with lots of lovely walks close by. The cottage had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose cottage. Pauline & Jim were so welcoming and friendly. They told us about the local area and the best places to go. Our toddler loved looking out at the beautiful views, spotting the hares on the field. The cottage itself was spotless and we had plenty of space for the two of us, plus our toddler and dog. The hot tub was super clean and we enjoyed relaxing every evening once our baby was in bed after very tiring but fun days out and about enjoying the local attractions. We had a couple of lovely meals at The Coach & Horses, food great and so cheap - it’s only a 10 minute (if that) walk from the cottage and we passed a lovely park which our daughter enjoyed playing on. We are already planning when we can come back. We’d definitely recommend if you’d like a nice relaxing stay in a beautiful area.
