Perfect Stay over the New Year period 2 adults 1 dog, perfect hosts, everything we could want for our relaxing slow paced stay. Even a bottle of fizz left for our New Year celebrations in the hot tub, its ideally located and all the facilities you would require. Will definitely be returning - Thank you

its the perfect location to explore the coast or the Yorkshire Moors and more. not far from Malton if need to shop and the local pub The Fleece is walking distance for good pub food and dogs are welcome. We discovered many great walks which is why we chose Pheasants Roost as our base.

Had a lovely relaxing weekend in the shepherds hut. Had everything you could need, was clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

Tips for other travellers

Had a great sunset walk on the map left in the hut. Delicious Sunday lunch at the Ham and cheese pub. Wonderful cafes and gift shops in malton.

We had a fabulous stay at Rose Cottage with the dogs. Lovely, comfy cottage with everything we needed. Hot tub was great and lots of lovely walks from the door step. We will definitely be back. Pauline was really nice and helpful too.

Perfect little cottage for a short trip away with our 2 month old and our dog! Ideal location for getting about in Yorkshire, and the type of rural location and feel we love.
