The property was lovely. We appreciated knowing some of the history of the house. The house is 18th century and everything was updated and fresh. We were in a room facing the road, however, traffic noise was not a problem. Penny and Mick were fantastic hosts, their attention to detail was outstanding. Our breakfast each day was delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back to visit next time we’re in the area. Thank you both for your kind hospitality.

Tips for other travellers

The Muddiford Inn was worth a visit. The new owners are doing a lot to repair the pubs muddi past. 😊 Maps wasn’t accurate it tried to make us turn past the church. You’ll see the pub and parking before the church.

Excellent stay and such friendly hosts. Breakfast was outstanding, couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely return if in the area.
