Spent 2 nights at The Spinny it was superb! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The whole house is spotlessly clean and Penny and Mick made us so welcome in their home. There was everything you need and the breakfast was first class plus, beautifully cooked and presented and plenty of choice. We will definately stay again and would absolutely recommend.

Tips for other travellers

Beautiful scenery around the property lovely garden to sit in. Close to Barnstaple and a short drive to Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Croyde and Braunton. Squires fish and chip shop and restaurant in Braunton very good and we had a fabulous meal at the Pyne Inn East Down.

Fabulous hosts. Beautifully clean rooms. Fabulous choice for breakfast. Quite possibly the best B&B we have stayed in. Big thanks to Penny and Mick.

Great location. Close enough to the town or the coast. Perfect base for visiting anywhere in North Devon.

Penny and Mike were perfect hosts. The Spinney is in a beautiful location and ideal for getting out and about in the local area. Our room was very comfortable and peaceful. The breakfasts are amazing

Lush bar and restaurant in Barnstaple was really nice. Good carvery at the Williams Arms in Braunton. Excellent beach at Woolacombe sands (pay and display parking on the road but could be usy in peak times).

We had a such a lovely stay at The Spinney. The hosts Michael and Penny were friendly and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. Beautifully decorated and well equipped rooms and breakfast was delicious. We wish we could have stayed and enjoyed longer. We will definitely recommend and hopefully be back to stay.
