A very comfortable and welcoming b&b. The hosts were very accommodating of my gluten free requirements and the breakfasts were delicious including fruit compote. Very good value in a lovely area.

Food at Muddiford Inn was very basic uninspiring pub food. Would not go there for food.

Great hosts, really welcoming and have an amazing B&B. Room and house throughout was spotlessly clean, with a fantastic breakfast; including fresh fruit, range of cereal and cooked options using high quality produce. Would absolutely stay again. One small minor comment, power in shower not brilliant so tricky washing long hair.

We used as base for 2 days whilst in the area. Close to town and 30 mins from beaches / coast attractions.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Spinney. The rooms were warm, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. The location is ideal for getting around North Devon but far enough away from the town centre to be quieter. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here and we will definitely come back in the future.

Tips for other travellers

We ate twice at the New Inn at Goodleigh, the food is reasonably priced, freshly cooked and it’s a really friendly country pub. We also ate at the Williams Arms in Braunton which offers a good carvery.
