A spot of paradise next to the Wye! We were furnished with everything we needed for a very relaxing, comfortable stay. The site is tranquil, the accommodation is carefully thought through, and the hosts are unobtrusively attentive. The on-site cafe is great for a coffee and cake, and the lovely town is just over the bridge. We'll certainly be back - 10/10!

We loved all the little details, it is obvious that alot of thought and effort have been put into creating the whole site. The whole family were very sad to leave after two days of relaxing and playing around the site. The tent itself had everything we needed and more, the welcome basket was an unexpected treat and wood burner kept us warm when inside at bedtime. We really enjoyed cooking on the fire/BBQ/pizza oven, eating out in the balcony, the close proximity to Hay on Wye for a quick visit and the night walking to see nature before bed, lots of bats. From our 6 year old... I loved going into the river and playing with my new friend on the little sandy beach. I loved all of the play areas. The only thing that bothered us very slightly was the industrial buildings across the river, so nothing that is possible to change. The lights from the building at night were annoying for relaxing on the balcony, but a blanket draped over the barrier helped block them out.
