By the Wye

An excellent site run by an excellent couple. The little touches in the accommodation were delightful and very welcome. The proximity to town was extremely easy, without losing the remote feeling that the accommodation gives. Back to nature in luxury!

Best family fishing break we have ever had! It’s hard to put into words what made it so special as it was everything from the warm welcome by the owners the minute we arrived, the idyllic setting in stunning woodland overlooking the Wye, the book town of Hay on Wye just a 2 minute walk away, and all the onsite activities for all ages including of course the exclusive fishing on this stunning stretch of the Wye. Can’t thank all the family and their support staff who run By the Wye enough, in particular Steve, Dawn, Edith and Dan for making this such a special and memorable stay for the whole family. Great spot. Tents have everything you need. Having all the facilities of Hay only a 5 minute walk away is perfect.

Amazing location and accommodation. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!
