Such a beautiful place. Owners are super friendly and the place was spacious and clean. Loved c saying hello to the animals and listening to the owls in the night. My child was very happy that there was a "proper" toilet. We will definitely be back.

Good to know that there is a locker for charging phone or charger block, microwave, fridge coffee machine and games to borrow. 10min drive to chirk Castle which was a great day out.

Just brilliant ideas and so well thought out. The best compost toilet we have ever had camping. The honesty shop was really special. The main shower/bathroom was like something from a rock band tour bus! The site was really interesting, loved the coppice.

Tips for other travellers
We ate at The Docks pub in nearby village in Sellatyn, if you like real ale and wonderful comfort food, would highly recommend. Also Ruabon is good for a pub crawl and The Bridge End pub is cosy with fine selection of ales. Chirk high street has a brilliant butcher and if you go just outside of the town there is a trout fishery which smokes it's own fresh trout.
