Gorgeous lodge, it had everything we needed and the host arranged flowers and Prosecco which was waiting for us on arrival. Check in and out was straightforward and arranged so that you just check yourself into the lodge without contact, which is wonderful and really suited us.

Tips for other travellers

There are free roaming chickens so make sure to check under your car before moving off! They’re very friendly & gorgeous creatures. The surrounding fields (which provide beautiful views) have highland cows, sheep, and we had a hare visit our window too. The scenery is idyllic, rain or shine.

Ease of communication from hosts. Fantastic views from the lodge of green fields with Highland cows and chickens a pleasant surprise. Lodge was spacious, well maintained and bed was very comfortable will definitely be back!

Stayed for Easter weekend was so impressed with Campsie lodge and definitely would stay there again! Loved the views and the animals, 10 out of 10!
