Lodge Farm Cottages

This is our 2nd stay, this time in the Summer and we were able to use all the outside facilities. The accommodation and location are superb. The host Bridget was welcoming and let us check in an hour earlier as we food to be refrigerated. I would throughly recommend staying there, and we will be back again . Any queries or questions are responded to swiftly. Thank you for a lovely stay

We had an amazing time at Lodge Farm Cottages! We are from Canada and stayed for a week to attend a wedding in the area, and it was perfect. Bridget was very easy to communicate with and responded to questions quickly. The cottage was clean and beautiful and had every comfort of home you could possibly need. We stayed in the Granary and there were 7 of us but we had plenty of space. There were 3 showers so even 7 people getting ready for a wedding at the same was easy. We did not have much time to spend exploring the farm but from the many wonderful reviews and comments we saw from past guests, there is much to do here for families. Bridget provides a very useful and very comprehensive information booklet with activities, restaurants and local attractions. And, we were also greeted with a delicious home made chocolate cake. We would highly recommend staying here!

2nd time visiting, stayed in both lodges. This time the dairy as there was less of us. Lodge is very well equipped, to all kitchen utensils right down to washing up liquid, tea coffee etc and even a lovely home baked chocolate cake which went down well after a long journey. It’s a home from home. The farm was full of sheep this year so was lovely to look out the window and see them in the mornings. Bridget is very welcoming and will sort out any problems if needed (we didn’t have any). Very warm and comfortable will come back again
