As always we really enjoyed our stay at The Lodge. It has everything you could wish for from a holiday home. Rural feel, but actually not so far from shops, pubs etc. Good location for visiting attractions, both in Suffolk and Norfolk. Is beautifully kept and has pretty much all the things you have at home. Milk in the fridge, and a home baked cake to welcome you, can’t get better than that! Bridget is an excellent host, making you feel welcome and that you are being looked after. We are looking forward to our next stay.

The Bell at nearby Carlton Colville does great food and great service too. Southwold is a lovely seaside town. Mrs Ts fish and chips are amazingly good. Walberswick is a worth a visit if you love looking at houses. Thorpeness is lovely, with its boating lake and quirky buildings, and the antique emporium. Can recommend Oasis Camel centre and Watatunga Wildlife park
