Fantastic location and have thought of everything for what is required in the space provided. Toilet/Shower amenities were spotless and of a very high standard. We stayed in the Mahee Pod which overlooked part of the lough which had a better viewing advantage. Top it all of two gorgeous donkeys in the field next door so that made my day.

Tips for other travellers

We booked the Strangford Boat Tour, meeting point Sketrick Island. It was fabulous very educational. Highlight was seeing the two dolphins which have now made residence at our shores. Fantastic seeing them ride the waves with the spray from the back of the boat when we took off. Some fantastic scenery. Also gorgeous restaurant/bar Daft Eddy's to enjoy a spot of lunch/refreshment after the trip.
