This was our second visit to Braeview and again it didn’t disappoint. The Pod was clean, comfortable and well equipped with some little extra treats provided which is a nice touch. It is perfect if you wish to escape the rat race as it is tranquil, peaceful and scenic with an outdoor seating should you wish to read a book or light the individual fire pit that is provided for toasting marshmallows and having a drink. There is plenty of sight seeing to do locally, with two pubs in Coldingham, we visited one with outside seating area and also served food for a more traditional style meal. The are numerous excellent walks that you can complete some of which are detailed in the information pack found in the Pod. Morag is an exceptional host and makes you feel very welcome, nothing is too much trouble and she has a wealth of knowledge about things to do, you can also purchase the best farm eggs ever along with other local goods 10/10. We look forward to our next visit and can’t recommend this enough. Di & Ross Keeley

Tips for other travellers
There are numerous places to eat in nearby Eyemouth, The Ship, Auld Bank and Giacopazzi’ for fish and chips whereby you can eat in or takeaway. Pre-booking at the restaurants is recommended especially during the busy season. There is plenty to do and visit to suit all abilities and interests. The pretty harbour at St Abbs, with local eatery providing everything from just a tea/coffee to full meal. Coldingham beach which is great for swimming, local cafe and has toilet facilities. The sea bird centre at North Berwick is a great place to visit, again with nice cafe facilities . If you have an interest in motorsports then a trip to the Jim Clark museum in Duns is educational and interesting.

Thank you! The hens do a great job laying the best eggs. The eggs are always a hit with guests. Thanks so much for your return visit and we will hopefully see you both again soon.

Definitely book a pod with a hot tub!! Order the breakfast package and if you've travelled a long way then also order the afternoon tea package.

We had the most amazing time once again. The pods are always spotlessly clean, and so comfortable. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing experience every time. We can’t wait to come back 😊
