Braeview Escapes

The setting is beautiful; the pod we stayed in looks out to a field of cattle grazing peacefully. Utter tranquility. The pod itself is equally beautiful and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The underfloor heating is a great touch of luxury. We fully intend to return in the near future. Thank you Morag and Jonny for a lovely stay.

We’ve visited this area quite a lot in the last few years but this was our first stay at Braeview Escapes. Excellent directions were provided by Morag so we had no trouble finding the location. We booked fairly late but were lucky that the Holly cabin was still available. It’s described as the most private which already sounded ideal, so the hot tub was just an added bonus! We loved the privacy and the very peaceful surroundings but as we’re beach lovers we had to use our car to get there and back. The pod is compact but doesn’t feel cramped and we found it very comfortable. You can control the temperature of the heating yourself, although we only needed to give it a little boost in the evenings as it wasn’t a cold weekend despite the windy weather. I imagine you’d still be very cosy in winter. The hot tub was bliss, always ready to use at the perfect temperature, no faffing with logs to heat it, and a perfect way to ease our muscles at the end of the day. There’s an area with chairs and a fire pit if you want to sit outside, and lovely dark skies at night for stargazing if it’s clear. As it was our anniversary, I preordered the jam jar bouquet which was really pretty. Absolutely loved this place and will definitely return.

Our second visit to Braeview Escapes. Everything was amazing. Such a peaceful location. The accommodation is perfect, absolutely spotless and loads of extras supplied which makes it such a relaxing break. The hot tub is absolutely gorgeous, sitting there watching the stars, absolutely breathtaking.

Proved the perfect pit stop, easy to find on the way North, ideally located just off the A1 and very close to Coldingham Bay, Saint Abbas and Eyemouth. All of which you have to visit. Pod/Chalet immaculate - everything I needed and more. Morag the perfect host, great communication
