What a fabulous find on the Highlands. Beautiful room with stunning views. We received such a warm welcome and were greeted with a glass of wine and a beer. Everything has been thought of in the room which was spacious and spotlessly clean. Our bed was extremely comfortable, so much so I didn’t want to get up in the morning. Lovely breakfast in the communal dining room. Our hosts were lovely, so friendly and made lots of wonderful suggestions of things to do. Only thing we didn’t like was having to leave! We can’t wait to come back and stay for longer next time. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing time away from the crowds in Fort William.

We would recommend doing the Jacobite steam train. Although it’s busy, the views along the way are stunning. There is an hour boat trip you can do when you get to Mallaig and though it’s not the best boat trip we’ve ever done you are pretty much guaranteed to see wildlife in a short space of time. If you are a shortbread lover, you must go to Nevis bakery in Fort William, very tasty but be warned they close at 3.45 pm. We had a nice meal at the Old Station restaurant in Spean Bridge. There aren’t a lot of restaurants in Spean Bridge so you need to plan ahead and book.

Where to begin...From arrival to departure, Susan & Morris made our stay at Springburn Farmhouse a truly memorable one. Hospitality was above and beyond, offering to assist my family whenever possible and cater for our every needs. Exceptional customer service and the place itself is so beautiful, warm and inviting, a real home from home that gives you a sense of comfort and relaxed atmosphere as soon as you arrive. The decor, cleanliness and general feel is faultless and then there's the amazing breakfast. Continental breakfast is very varied with a great selection to choose from, and an additional breakfast extra which varies from day to day. The location for basing a road trip to Skye and surrounding Highland region is also perfect and quite simply, the whole experience of a stay at Springburn Farmhouse is a 10/10 one, needless to say their reviews speak for themselves. Thanks again Susan and Morris for a truly memorable stay!

Some great places to eat nearby, particularly recommend the Whispering Pines, but ensure you book and confirm the time.

Beautiful house and room which were immaculate. The owners were so welcoming and lovely, it was a great "small break" for us which we thoroughly enjoyed and would definitetly recommend.

Hosts very helpful. I didn't have a car as I was walking The Great Glen Way. Morris helped make the stay possible with lifts so you can use Springburn as a stop on the Way. Book restaurants in advance as there was not much open when I stayed.
