The Birkdale is great, the rooms are spotless, the breakfast and the welcome is second to none. Lesley and Colin with Sarah make you so welcome nothing is to much trouble why would you go anywhere else ? We wouldn't

We first booked a stay at the Birkdale soon after Colin and Lesley took control. We were so impressed with the comfortable and spotless room, wide selection of breakfast availability and the general decor and cleanliness of the whole Guest House, that we would never have a need to look elsewhere for a place to stay on the island. After numerous further visits, this feeling has not changed one bit! Our latest break was from 6th to the 10th of October. Colin and Lesley, together with Sarah offer an excellent and professional service to all of their guests - just look at all the five-star ratings!

Felt very welcome and at home. Everything absolutely immaculate,and such attention to every detail, everything you could possibly want in the bedroom and bathroom. Lovely breakfast choices, beautifully served.
