Set in quiet road yet right in the old village. Book at restaurants as can be very busy and then difficult to get a meal.

Great place for walks. Pendletons, Pavarottis and village inn are all good local restaurants. Butterfly farm, Osborne house, steam railway are all just 20 minutes away

Absolutely first class. Everything is thought of, nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic breakfast, rooms are spotlessly clean and there are so many extra little touches that make it extra special. Fabulously warm welcome and very well organised throughout.

Been coming here with my sister for the last 5 years although the current owners have been here since 2019. Leslie and Colin are wonderful, friendly and approachable hosts to whom nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotless and contain all that you could need for your stay. Very generous supplies and a breakfast menu that would meet the needs of even the most fussy eater. We have booked again for next year as we cannot imagine anywhere else being as lovely as this guest house.

Things are constantly changing in the local area so eating recommendations are difficult. We enjoyed the Steamer Inn and the cafe on Sundown Pier was also excellent. Leslie and Colin have loads of knowledge and would be my go to source for info. We found that a rover bus ticket was the best way to get around as the bus stop is a very short walk away.
