Your service is up-to standard. But just want to tell you that you people have to consider give some tokens to us who normally convince our people to come to you.. even 1000 dalasis to say thank you..

Need to enhance room cross ventilation or diffusers as the room would be stale at time

Gas cylinders are kept inhouse which is not safe and against regulations. (Outdoor) sockets are not safe. Apartments are sprayed with pesticides to combat cockroaches and other pests, but are not properly cleaned afterwards. Maintenance team is not properly trained which creates danger for guests, staff and themselves. Examples: - They 'solved'stray current on an (indoor) socket outdoor at the terrace next to the pool by insulating the groundwire...They did this by turning off the on/off switch of the socket, apperently thinking this would take the current off of the wires. - after handling a gasleak they checked if the leak was solved by lighting a lighter... - After fumigating the apartment and waiting for 4 days to let me in, I spend 3 hours in the hospital on a drip with all kinds of medication against poisining because they did not ventilate and clean enough, last week of holiday ruined because of the effects. On top of that they charged me extra for a different apartment because I was not inclined to be poisened any further. Staff is very kind and helpfull, willing to help out with anything, they deserve 5 stars. They cannot help they're not properly trained. Nonetheless, it creates dangerous situtions which should be taken care of by higher management.

Tips for other travellers
The Gambia is a development country so support the locals. By your food and drinks from them, ask them to do your groceries for you so they can earn some extra money. Visit the highlights but do it with them instead of the touroperators. You'll get much better prices and no, the people will not rip you off or anything. No matter what touroperators tell you. Bad people are everywhere, just use your mind and make sure you negotiate beforehand.
