Wonderful location if you enjoy a country atmosphere near St. Andrews on a hill overlooking the city . Sam is a wonderful host and keeps this beautiful old farmhouse in top condition. We really enjoyed our 3 days and nights here.

Tips for other travellers
Golf, tourism and restaurants are all wonderful. If you like to walk and jog this is the place to stay. If you need a lift, Sam was wonderful with that and it is easy to get a taxi back if you need one.

Best accommodation so far on our 2 week road trip! Loved Sam’s hospitality! The accommodations were comfortable and clean, spacious and welcoming. We loved all of the local art and amenities too!

Food: Jahangir Indian, Tailend Seafood, Forgens for elevated local dishes, Janetta’s Gelato, and Jigger Inn for the golf/pub scene were all delicious! Activities recommended: Islander handbag class, Castle and Cathedral, walking around town including the old course and university. Local golf courses are all great. My husband played Fairmont and enjoyed it. The town is super walkable. We would either park down by the beach/aquarium or up on South street and wander.
