Both of you were very welcoming and the green room was magnificent and literally perfect for the three of us. It felt homely and luxurious which is a hard combination to pull off. We'd stomped 23,000 steps around Edinburgh the day we arrived and slept very soundly!

The Greyfriars was a good pub, with actually really decent veggie and vegan options - which is not often the case. The staff were very friendly too.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at Sooniehill farmhouse B&B we were made so welcome by Sam and Mike. The view is stunning. We were going to the Christmas market in Edinburgh and didn’t know where to stay then we heard about Sooniehill Farmhouse B&B Star treatment. We went to the train station and parked the car all day for a £1 it only took about 10 minutes to get to the station then about an hour or so to get to Edinburgh on the train. I wish we were there for at least a week because there is lots to see we are looking forward to going back. Food was delicious. Mikes homemade chocolate were also delicious.

If you are going to Sooniehill Farmhouse B&B I would advise you to travel by car because scenery stunning. There are lovely walks. We went into St Andrews the two nights we were there, we went to Mitchell’s and Zizzi the food was beautiful then had a walk round St Andrews.

Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. We had a lovely stay here. The attention to detail was amazing (the in room amenities were some of the best I've seen anywhere) Breakfast was delicious and generous. 10/10

Excellent—-can’t fault the place in “anyway”!! Hosts are just “magic”!! Breakfasts —-wonderful—-every detail is thought of!! The establishment is a”one off” —-unique in a lovely way —-personally I think it is “very” special —-a “find” !! “More” than “full marks” !!

Just to walk about St Andrews and take in the ambience is lovely—-it is a “very” special place —some lovely shops and “charity shops” !! The Balfour Larder —-I think is worth a visit and the Peat Inn and Rufflets are lovely —-but not cheap!! I just think the ambience—-generally of St Andrews is lovely—-take a walk along the beach —-and personally I liked what I had to eat in Niblicks!! I have been to a few restaurants—but there is not really one that “stands out” in my opinion!! I hear the cafe/restaurant at the Links is supposed to be good !! Anyway—everyone’s taste is different—-I’m sure there is some where for “everyone in St Andrews—-special place!!
