Nothing too much trouble - such a peaceful atmosphere and location although just a short drive to St Andrews or a lovely walk in Breakfast is everything you could want and freshly cooked I love it here and this is my second visit Books and games in abundance or just a pleasant seat in the garden

We went to Bowhouse market which is a monthly market so check the dates but it was a good morning or afternoon out Also did Scotland’s secret bunker Or just enjoy St Andrews buzz

Excellent experience overall. Scooniehill is about 8 minutes outside of town but well worth it. Sam is an impeccable host and the breakfast is unparalleled. Be sure to order the fresh fruit which I did not do until the last day...incredible. Room was comfortable and Sam is very helpful generally, and helped us with transportation twice. Highly recommended!

Renting a car is advised. There are taxis but no uber service and taxis require advance booking. One driver could not find the location. Renting a car is far superior and there are parking spaces at the farmhouse.

Returm visit for us. Sam and his team were wonderful. From pot of tea and coffee on arrival with tablet, offer of driving us down to St Andrews for dinner through to getting a lovely plant to take home. Room was lovely, breakfast amazing and views fabulous. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
