Scooniehill Farmhouse B&B

Staying at a place like Scooniehill Farmhouse is why we travel - novel experiences, meeting delightful, interesting people, being a part of local culture. It is spotlessly clean, cozy and charming. The beds were so comfortable and the shower wonderfully hot. Scooniehill is a very authentic farmhouse in the countryside and decorated with gnomes and art and so much character. Just a few minutes outside of town, and absolutely worth the short ride, Sam the host can often take you into town if you don’t have a car. As a host, Sam is most remarkable, incredibly friendly and equally respectful. He and his team provide a delicious homemade breakfast each day (oh so many choices!) Clearly this is a loved place, as people from all over the world have put their marker on the map in the hallway. You should come too!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sam is a lovely host. Breakfast was excellent so much choice Nothing was too much bother Would definitely recommend
