Lovely hosts, couldn’t be more welcoming. The handmade chocolates in the room were yummy. The view out across St Andrews spires and beaches to Tentsmuir from the room was stunning. Breakfasts made to order were very tasty.

All the little Fife villages are worth visiting if you enjoy walking along the piers and the beaches and the coastal paths between the villages are good exercise if you fancy a more strenuous walk. Lots of places to eat in St Andrews although we opted to go other places like the Ship Inn at Elie and Strathkinness Tavern (recommend booking first) We watched a couple of swimmers using the tidal pool at Pittenweem but it looked VERY cold…..

Sam and Mike are so genuine, willing to help and very kind. The experience is very personalised with your own breakfast choices laid out on the dining table. All of these things make the place so homely and relaxing. The rooms are like home from home. Its like sam and mike have thought of everything with the makeup remover face cloths, sewing kits, cotton pads. Absolutely beautiful place.

Lovely B&B surrounded by quiet countryside, yet very close to St Andrews. Room was furnished in good taste and with all the traveler's needs in mind. Outside the rooms, the B&B had comfy spots all over the building where you could sit & relax. Sam and Mike were great hosts - attentive but not intrusive, with always an interesting story or two to offer. The views over the countryside to St Andrews and the sea beyond was fabulous.

Walks starting right from the B&B's front door. There was a patch of woods nearby where snowdrops covered the forest floor (late Feb). Also recommended nearby - Cambo Gardens, Fife Folk Museum, Auld Kirk in St Monans, Topping & Company Booksellers in St Andrews. Also, the chocolates that Mike makes at the B&B (Maleys Chocolates) is great!
