Everything very well thought out - eg ability to turn off room light from bed. Just one disappointment - the bread offered for breakfast was past it's use by date and bought after being reduced in price by the shop - not something I would eat. Far better to offer the room with no breakfast.

Thanks for your 5* review and comments. Sorry about the bread though. It was bought on the day it was reduced, which is the actual 'sell by date', and kept in the deep freezer from date of purchase...so was actually not a problem to use when defrosted in the fridge. All cereals, milk, jam & marmalade etc supplied by the hostel are checked daily to ensure all is ok. Hopefully see you again on another visit when touring this area.

Pam is a friendly and helpful host who goes out of her way to make your stay a pleasure. The hostel is well organised and clean and a good base for cycling. We enjoyed our ight in the hostel.
