My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Greenside Farm, the location was perfect and the scenery surrounding the B&B is just beautiful. Angela is a wonderful host, the room was warm, cosy, clean and the breakfast she cooked was fantastic, set us up for the day ! We highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in the Dales to book yourselves in . We hope to return in the spring and look forward to seeing the lambs .

There's a lovely pub close by that provides tasty meals in a warm comfortable welcoming atmosphere and the walks surrounding the area are outstanding .

In an excellent location with no road noise, it is a very relaxing place to stay. The full English breakfast is a perfect start to the day.

There are a number of good options for evening meals in the area, especially the Kings Head which only a mile away.

Lovely little B&B in quite location… lot of nice walks all around. Doggie friendly! Great pub with nice food walking distance. Great detox from business of every day!

Tips for other travellers

Yes, it's a farmhouse surrounded by a working farm, in the middle of nowhere, but you will want for nothing. A gentle walk to a lovely pub for food. Walking boots for the endless footpaths. You can forget the car and just enjoy the peace, fresh air and hear the sounds of the natural world. Bring a map so you know where you are rather than relying on satnav.
