What an amazing place Mallard Grange is. A working farm with excellent accommodation; breakfast, cleanliness, location, Maggie and staff all five star. We had a wonderful short stay. Very friendly welcome, an informal and relaxing stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable with an amazing view. The antics of the lambs seen from our window was an amusing added bonus.

Tips for other travellers

Maggie provides a huge range of options for her Yorkshire breakfast menu. Food was excellent. You will be spoilt for choice. Obviously, Fountains Abbey which is breath taking and Studley Royal and Deer Park are "across the road". Other places of interest are nearby or within a short drive. Yorkshire roads are narrow and paved footpaths rare. Walking routes are well signposted.

Maggie, our nepeta best friend, is an awesome host. Food is fantastic, rooms clean and very comfortable. We want to go back really soon. Probably the best B&B we have encountered. Thank you all

Such a warm and friendly place to stay. Lambs in the fields outside beyond the lovely kitchen garden, a welcoming host, a super comfy bed and a truly fantastic breakfast. It was absolutely fabulous, thank you.
