Maggie and her team were the perfect hosts. Room was spacious and clean and well stocked with the little extras that make all the difference to a comfortable stay. My partner has mobility issues so the large walk in shower was a real bonus. Breakfast was exceptional with eggs fresh from the farm. Location could not have been better for visiting Fountains Abbey, Ripon and Newby Hall. We will return!

Maggie was a very welcoming and accomodating host. The choice at breakfast time was amazing. Lovely room (Fox) with nice rooms. We enjoyed the tea making facilities and the homemade shortbread. Maggie even provided us with skimmed milk both in our room and at breakfast. Home made preserves at breakfast went down a treat.

I had a wonderful few days stay at Mallard Grange and was as made to feel very welcome. Maggie and her staff were most helpful and went out of their way to make my stay ‘5 star’. Accommodation was first class, the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were very substantial and of excellent quality. A ‘home from home’ feel made the whole experience top notch.
