Mallard Grange

We had a wonderful and relaxing time here at your beautiful traditional farmhouse. Maggie, you are a very warm and friendly host and nothing was too much trouble. Your staff were so friendly and helpful, quite lovely. Superbly comfortable beds and a fantastic array of options for breakfast, which was delicious. A truly relaxing ambience all round. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for making our break a special one.

We booked a last minute stay here and what a fantastic place this is. Maggie is so welcoming, you just feel at home. We had a ground floor room with wonderful views of the goats, coffee, tea and shortbread in the room too plus mini fridge. The breakfasts were amazing with great choice, we sat at a communal table which was lovely as we got talking to other guests. You can walk through the fields to Fointains Abbey, walk through Studley deer park and also walk into Ripon this way too. We can’t fault this place, if you want a peaceful relaxing stay book here. You can drive to surrounding places, eat out at the pubs or just relax in the beautiful surroundings of Mallard Grange Farm. We will definitely be back. Amanda and Andy xx

We loved everything about Mallard Grange - the friendly welcome by Maggie the owner, the spacious room, the high quality of everything in it, the great breakfast, the location within walking distance of Fountains Abbey, and on an actual working farm. This was one of the best accomodations we have ever stayed at in all our travels.

very welcome greeting from Maggie as usual. Lovely room with everything we needed, including delicious home made shortbread with a wonderful selection of tea, coffee etc. An added bonus was fresh milk and water in the fridge. A lovely sleep in a comfortable bed was followed by an amazing breakfast with everything you could possibly want, all beautifully prepared and cooked.
