This was our 6th visit - so that says it all - it's beautiful - cool in the summer - cosy when the seasons change. Well equipped and a small freezer and a washing machine are welcome. Amazing to sit and look out on fields and hills or wash up /wake up looking at Ingleborough. Enjoy seeing the sheep, donkies and pony, hens and 3 aloof cats - and being greeted by the collie. The hosts are warm and really helpful - provide great walking advice etc and despite them living next door and there being another cottage on the site it has never felt anything but quiet and private. The peace is quite loud actually! You can walk from the door and other good walking areas are all within a max of 30 mins drive. Good cafes and restaraunts/pubs. Loads of birds and hares in the fields round about. Wifi and mobile phone signal fine.

Lovely cottage, providing everything we need for a perfect break. Appreciated the welcome basket complete with eggs, crisps, fudge, fresh coffee, bottle of fresh milk in the fridge, and Ruth’s delicious lemon drizzle cake. All went down a treat! Great first impression, modern feel, very clean and well maintained. Can clearly see a lot of thought and personal touches have gone into creating this lovely space. The kitchen is well-planned with everything you’ll need to prepare your meals. Light, airy, comfortable living space. Well stocked book case, with lots of information and inspiration for things to do on your visit. On reading the visitors book, everyone loved their visit, we couldn’t agree more! Perfect place for peace and quiet, with amazing views across the countryside. Ruth and Mike are wonderful hosts, ensuring you have the best experience possible. As animal lovers, we both enjoyed meeting Spiller the pony, donkeys, cats and chickens! We were speaking with guests staying in the larger barn, they also loved it there, so much so it was their second visit. Thanks again Ruth and Mike for your hospitality. We had a wonderful visit and will recommend to everyone! 😀
