Very welcoming on arrival & fabulous basket of goodies awaiting us which was lovely. On hand if needed but otherwise left to your own devices. Barn was like a home from home, everything you needed including a very thorough file filled with handy notes for your stay at the barn 👍🏻 Loved every minute of staying here & hope to return soon.

Perfect base for plenty of walking. Stones throw from the 3 peaks and walking distance into Settle for supplies. Golden Lion in Settle did fabulous food & drink, would recommend it!

Ask Ruth for dog friendly walks . There are some awkward styles that Were difficult to use with a dog .

Tipperthwaite Barn is just perfection- clean, comfortable with everything you could possibly need (and more! ) for your stay. Ruth and Mike are simply fabulous hosts - from the warm welcome when we arrived to the lovely welcome basket we couldn't have asked for more from our hosts. We especially appreciated Ruth taking time to let our young daughter help her with the animals - really made our week extra special and helped us make some truly lovely memories. This was our second visit to Tipperthwaite Barn and I'm sure we will be back again soon!

For families we recommend The Knights Table restaurant - wonderful food, beautiful views and they have outside space where any energetic little ones can let off some steam. They are also open early evening so great if you need to have an early tea!

We recently had a lovely stay at Tipperthwaite Barn. The cottage is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Ruth & Mike were brilliant hosts and so kind to our disabled daughter. The views are stunning and there are lots of great places to visit nearby. We will definitely be returning.

We visited Ingleton Falls, Malham Cove and Bolton Abbey, all recommended. If you visit Malham Cove, go via Janet's Foss as you won't have to climb up the 400 steps!
