Ludlow only 10 mins drive away, market on most days, lots of individual shops. Excellent places to eat . Our favourites for evening meals is the Church Inn and for lunch the cafe by the river at the back of the castle. Well worth visiting, lots to do and see, we never tire of coming to this town; this is our 3rd visit in 5 weeks.

We loved our accommodation. It was very easy to communicate with Helen who responded very quickly and gave us lots of recommendations on places to eat out. The flat is well equipped with everything you need set in stunning countryside. We enjoyed our eve drinks in the Italian sunken garden in the evening sun. The bed, mattress and duvet were of exceptionally high quality. The best we have had in a long time.

Lovely circular 6 miles walks One up Long Mynd from Church Stretton. Highly recommended as beautiful all the way with stunning views form the top. We can recommend the Angel for Tapas and Bistro7.

Ludlow is 5 minutes away with lots of interesting shops and historical medieval architecture. Great choice of places for eating out/taking away.

We really enjoyed our stay at Henley Hall, the grounds are stunning and secluded, perfect for a getaway! The owners were very welcoming and helpful too. Our cottage was cosy and, although the kitchen was small, it worked well for a short stay. The highlight was the walled garden with its butterflies!

We visited several local castles and Ludlow is a very pretty and historic town to visit. Ironbridge is worth visiting but you will need a full day.
