A lovely couple of days away staying on the Kingfisher Narrowboat at Hawthorn Hideaway 🥂🌲 🍂 It’s something a little bit different to our usual hotel stays and we spent some wonderful time together flitting between the allocated private jacuzzi whilst availing of private sauna and steam pod sessions and spending our evenings watching movies in our private heated outdoor pod 🎥 🍿 We even booked a sound bath which was incredibly relaxing with the lovely Vitality With Vena coming to us and setting up in our pod 💕. Josephine and Ronnie have an incredible set up and nothing is too much to ask; although with so much on offer as standard it’s hard to think what more you could possibly need 😅. From a complimentary breakfast hamper, handmade chocolates, bathrobes, slippers, fluffy throws, hot water bottles and even pillow spray; what more can you ask for? 👩❤️👨 🫶🏼

Another wonderful stay at Hawthorn Hideaway, my 4th time as a solo traveller, and the best so far. Owl Lodge is perfect, totally private with everything I needed for some ‘me’ time, including amazing outside space, idyllic location, and forest surroundings full of birds and squirrels to keep me company. Josephine & Ronnie provide the perfect getaway, enabling me to totally switch off, but being on hand should I need anything. Wonderful hosts, wonderful place. I’ve already booked my next visit!

Great hosts- they made everything easy with great communication meaning we could completely relax and switch off during our stay We couldn’t recommend Hawthorne hideaway enough! The location is perfect and swan lodge was super private we didn’t see another person at all during our 2 night stay despite knowing other guests were staying we felt like we were alone in the middle of nowhere. The cabin was spotless and lots of little extra touches which made it even more special- everything we needed was supplied! It really was a very special place to stay!

Lovely stay, everything was great. Really liked the cinemas and the narrowboat was as usual excellent. Both the breakfast and BBQ packs were again top quality. We also very much appreciated the prosecco and chocolates. The sauna was well prepared for us and hot tub nice and clean. Really haven't got a bad word to say, we'll be back!
