My partner has always said he’d love to try a barge boat so finding this half hour away from us was perfect, it was so peaceful and quiet walking to our barge boat, and so clean and tidy, the bed was so comfty too. You wasn’t disturbed at any point and it had everything you needed and more, we had a lovely hot tub and then a cosy log burner to warm us up. We headed off to drakeholes the following day to say this was our first time we mastered the locks and driving it by the time we was coming back. Fabulous stay and will definately be recommending.

Had a wonderful experience staying on kingfisher for a night. It was so peaceful and comfortable. Great selection of breakfast items. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Swan Lodge was magical 😍 and really exceeded our expectations. I booked this for my partners birthday and he was amazed when we arrived. I requested Prosecco on arrival which was beautiful well worth the money, the breakfast hamper was delicious and the bacon/sausage was such good quality. The hot tub was hot ready to use, the Geodome was magical and the projector was easy to set up and connected to the wifi straight away. The cabin for the sauna is beautiful and over looks the lake, the steam room is a shower cubicle with a steam function which we found in quite odd but still enjoyed. I also booked my partner a private massage in the yurt. Shelley from the Hollistic Clinic was lovely and made him feel so comfortable, he came back feeling refreshed and relaxed. Overall an amazing stay, all our friends have been asking where we’ve been as they want to book! Thank you for an amazing stay we will definitely be back

Beautiful great place.. lovely people quiet relaxing time away we was on the boat was great experience outside area is lovely to can’t wait go in summer time and experience it in the nice weather.
