The Swan Lodge was magical 😍 and really exceeded our expectations. I booked this for my partners birthday and he was amazed when we arrived. I requested Prosecco on arrival which was beautiful well worth the money, the breakfast hamper was delicious and the bacon/sausage was such good quality. The hot tub was hot ready to use, the Geodome was magical and the projector was easy to set up and connected to the wifi straight away. The cabin for the sauna is beautiful and over looks the lake, the steam room is a shower cubicle with a steam function which we found in quite odd but still enjoyed. I also booked my partner a private massage in the yurt. Shelley from the Hollistic Clinic was lovely and made him feel so comfortable, he came back feeling refreshed and relaxed. Overall an amazing stay, all our friends have been asking where we’ve been as they want to book! Thank you for an amazing stay we will definitely be back

Tips for other travellers

The only local shop is a co-op so bring all your favourite drinks/snacks with you. The takeaway in the village is also amazing!

Beautiful great place.. lovely people quiet relaxing time away we was on the boat was great experience outside area is lovely to can’t wait go in summer time and experience it in the nice weather.

Thank you for a fab stay, we did have some problems but they were looked at and tried to deal with as soon as possible. Ronnie was a super star and tried to resolve the issues we encountered.

Tips for other travellers

Excellent facilities ensure you book the BBQ pod it was amazing and so relaxing we had a great time BBQ'ing and listening to some music whilst we cooked we even did toasted marshmallows which were delicious. To use the dome and protector you will need to connect your hotspot on your phone so ensure that you have a charger with you,we took our fire stick which worked perfectly and we had a great couple of nights watching movies and listening to the rain. Definitely bring wellies / boots as the grounds are very muddy.

Thanks Helen for a lovely review. It really was an absolute pleasure having you both onsite. You were such a nice couple. Indeed sorry about the issues, managed to sort a couple of them on the day. The other one we sorted as soon as you left as we didn't want to disturb you. So thank you for being so patient. We're so happy that you didn't let it spoil your stay. You are correct it has been almost constant rain throughout February and this does mean the grounds can be quite muddy. We've been putting down more paving and stepping stones where we can, but the rain is making things difficult. Hopefully by the time you are reading this, things would have calmed down.
