Tips for other travellers

Either use the on site private chef for evening meal or take your own food to cook in very good kitchen. With our own food and drink we did not need to go anywhere after arriving, just chilled and enjoyed the place.

Its beautiful we took some food as this time we used oven etc n had meal in Swan lodge as its beautiful we love it

Such a Beautiful, quiet & peaceful break away. Well needed in all the chaos of the festive period! We stayed in Swan lodge & it was decorated for Christmas which made it even more magical. It’s the perfect place to resit and unwind. The owners have thought of everytbing & it’s immaculate. Also!! The shower is amazing!! We had one member who had a food intolerance and they accomodated that in the lovely breakfast hamper and we are so grateful. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay x

Hi Beth thank you for an almost perfect rating, we really do appreciate it. I think you either have to be very angry or very happy to take the time to write a review just after a stay. So glad you were the latter. Thank you for mentioning the Xmas decorations, I'm going through a second childhood I think, so I love having the excuse of having a business so we have to put more decorations up each year, also we can put them up later and leave them longer than we do for our house. Of course we have no problem with food intolerances, we are more than happy to accommodate extra needs. Thank you and we will hopefully see you again one day. Ronnie and Josephine

Beautiful setting and Christmas decor was a lovely touch. Along with the Prosecco and chocolates. Room was very warm and cosy. Just a couple of things to mention. The toilet seat was loose and there was only one working bulb in the bathroom. Having said this it wouldn’t put us off returning as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Would recommend the walk along the canal to Misterton. Lovely atmosphere in The Red Hart pub.
