We had an absolutely beautiful mini moon at Hawthorn Hideaway. The location is just stunning with beautiful fairy lights lighting up the beautiful woodland. We stayed in Swan Lodge and the accommodation was perfect, the breakfast hamper had everything we need to cook up a full English breakfast. During our stay we did the private dining experience which was absolutely outstanding of this world. We also had a couples massage which was lush. The bbq cabin was a fun experience also. What an amazing start to our married life, we are already planning when to come back.

Congratulations guys. We wish you both a long and happy married life. Relationships aren't easy, they take work and care. We hope we have created a space where couples like yourselves can come and leave the stress and noise behind and get back to just being together. Enjoy the ride 😍We look forward to welcoming you both back again one day. Warm wishes, Josephine and Ronnie x

Kingfisher is a lovely " luxury" boat and its a great wsy to see the Chesterfield canal but have a base to explore from. Garden is wonderful. Loved watching the sunsets over the canal and the hot tub got plenty of use. The canal itself very quiet peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast hamper a real bonus. Cinema Dome cute and added electric blanket perfect for chilly evenings.

If taking Kingfisher out be aware of the weed ... in our case towards the Trent. We needed to clear the green algae at least twice away from prop. ( not really a problem) Definately worth watching the boats arrive and leave the basin onto the Trent if you time it right. Also visited Gainsbrough Old Hall and Connisbrough castle. Both good value and worth seeing.

We stayed on the Kingfisher Barge, and wow what an amazing experience, it was so peaceful and secluded, perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Everything was catered for with a lot of special little touches. The breakfast basket had everything you could ever want. Such a lovely experience with so much to offer you if you wanted that something a little bit special. Thank you
