A beautiful cottage in a quiet, pretty rural location. We had everything we needed for a party of 3 adults and 2 young children. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and there’s a large secure garden which was great for the children to play in, it is also a working farm with animals to visit. Rachel was a friendly host who was readily available with any questions.

The Ice Cream Farm and Bewilderwood are both close by which are worth doing for family friendly activities.

We had a lovely stay. The Cottage was very clean and well appointed, and Rachel was really friendly and helpful. Our children loved seeing the goats and chickens every day.

Lovely, clean and well equipped farm cottage 20 minutes outside Chester. Rachel andthe family were friendly, welcoming and, above all, helpful with food deliveries and the little things that can happen on holiday. Would thouroughly recommend!

Lots to see and do in Chester itself - use the easy park and ride to avoid city centre hassle. Easy to get to Liverpool as well by train. Pubs and shops in Tattenhall and Tarporley. The Inn at Huxley is great for a special Sunday lunch. Beeston Castle is worth the climb up. Drive to Trevor for the amazing aqueduct. Walk through the lanes to the canal!
