Wonderful holiday not our first visit to the farm and will not be the last . Everything is of the highest standard and really have nothing negative that could be said wonderful pool kids love it

Cheverton is a perfect place for families or groups of adults; we've done both over the years. It's the best equipped self catering we've ever stayed in. Everything has been thought of. Children and dog equipment too. It's a working farm where busy life goes on around you but you don't feel in the way. You can say hello to whichever animals are around, farm animals, farm pets or workers like Jem, the collie. It's friendly and relaxed. Super meat and bacon at the farm shop. Great bird life too with larks, goldfinches, collar doves, red kites and even occasional sighting of white tailed eagle. Claudia is super helpful and accessible when you book; she'll even book the ferry for you. There are lovely walks around the farm; a fifteen minute climb through glorious views gets you to a hilltop fire pit with seats carved out of fallen trees, great for a barbecue or an evening glass or two. There's something to do whatever the weather, a super sunny private courtyard with comfy seating and dining, all the walks and a great little children's play area with a trampoline. If it rains there's the indoor pool, deliciously warm, snooker room, table tennis, table football, etc and indoors a huge sitting room with TV, games and books.

We had an amazing week in the cottage. Beautiful place, everything so well organised! The kids (and me) loved the donkey’s and the overly cute mini baby goats.
