What a wonderful place! Great hosts and a wonderful shepherds hut in a beautiful woodland with so much wildlife. Waking up to red squirrels in the morning is magical. We enjoyed walks from the door and had such a relaxing time. Without a doubt we will definitely be back. The perfect spot for a bit of R&R!

Easy short walk to Hawes through fields that lead you straight to the Wensleydale creamery a must visit when in the area! The chippie in Hawes is one of the best - who knew deep fried Wensleydale could be so nice Hardaw Force is must see stunning plus there is great pub nearby with lovely beer. We also stopped at Aysgarth Falls on the way home well worth a stop! The falls are tremendous after all the rain.

a fantastic location and a lovely shepherds hut! lots of lovely surprises to make our stay more delightful too! The feeders were full on arrival and we got to see lots of birds and red squirrels! we were sat on the decking surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature. The log burner kept us warm at night and it was incredibly peaceful. Hot water bottle were provided too! We will certainly return.

lots of water falls very worth a visit and your lovely host will advise happily. Hawes has lots of good places to eat and its well worth exploring, the fish and chip shop is one of the best we have been to! The Wensleydale Pantry also is exceptional offing a wide range of breakfasts lunches and dinners - plus some lovely desserts!
