Thorney Mire Woodland Retreat

Fantastic location. A really well thought out holiday/getaway retreat. The owners are very friendly, and have clearly thought through all that one might need. I always admire people that are willing to go that extra mile either with effort or with spending their money to make it as nice as possible for their clients. One of the many things we loved was the amazing bed, my wife and I slept like babies, and came home feeling energised. We really are thinking about when we might next be able to come back

Beautiful location and the cabin was so nice and cosy, it was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, well presented, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

By far the best short break we have had. We stayed in the Lookout and the cabin was just beautiful and the surroundings so serene. You have everything you need on arrival and Caroline, who was our host, gave us all the information we needed, along with recommendations of places to see and places to eat. The red squirrels were an absolute treat to watch and expect to be visited by them for most of the day along with the varied variety of birds. We will certainly be coming back here when a long needed relaxing break is wanted as this place really does the job. 5* place
