Amazing woodland retreat! Absolutely stunning environment with wildlife in abundance. We came for our honeymoon and it exceeded expectations. We will be coming back every year if there's availability, to get the peace and nature fix. The cabin was warm and cosy, and had everything you needed. Caroline was great, so quick to reply to text messages and top up our bird and squirrel food. Could not of been any better. Lovely lady and so friendly and welcoming.

We visited malham cove, worth the trip, white scar cave, ingleton waterfall trail and the Wensleydale creamery, we got a bit carried away with the cheese. For food we visited the green dragon pub, which was good pub grub and had a lovely local feel. We also went for a meal at the stone house hotel which was wonderful. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Lovely warm welcome (even in the pouring rain!). The Shepherds hut was small but cozy and the wildlife was in abundance the whole weekend. Great location with so much to do and see within walking distance or a short drive.

Find Cotter Force... A beaut hidden gem waterfall and we actually had it to ourselves on Saturday afternoon. The Chippie in Hawes is reasonably priced and really good .. we left a Voujon Indian menu in the cupboard, possibly best Indian takeaway we've had, was really lovely. Pull the grey box Infront of the window and pop some nuts and seeds from the squirrel food on there and sit back and enjoy bird TV at its best.

A wonderful location and the cabin was so cosy and well equipped. Loved the decor too. The red squirrels were a highlight. A warm welcome from Caroline.

We did the Hawes - Hardraw walk and took in the creamery, green dragon and waterfall - a lovely day despite the rain.
