A lovely comfortable, spotlessly clean lodge with the added bonus of a hot tub overlooking the forest. Everything needed for a relaxing self catered break has been thought of.

Tips for other travellers

Recommend the Dog and Muffler for food. Walks into the forest direct from the garden gate.

We had a Wonderful stay in a very comfortable lodge - all the kit and facilities we could need and a delightful hot tub!

Lovely cottage with everything you could possibly need. Second stay and hope to be back soon. Very dog friendly with a gate taking you straight into the forest. Audrey the owner makes your stay perfect.

Had a couple of nice meals at The New Inn and sat outside the Tudor Farmhouse for a lovely meal one dinnertime. The forest holiday park is a short walk through the forest where you can eat and has a shop.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay especially if bringing your furry friends. A lovely little basket of bits for your doggies ( bowls, towels & Treats) beds if needed. Place had everything you require and lovely warm under floor heating on those chilly days. Excellent location with gate leading into forest and a lovely hot tub to relax in after a long walk. Audrey the Host was amazing and was always available to answer any questions.

Plenty of walks from back of property to Symonds Yat view point and down to the river where you can find a lovely pub Saracens head for a drink or meal. White horse pub in Staunton is excellent for food about a 10 minute drive away.
