Linda and Mike are very friendly and welcoming, excellent hosts. We got plenty of advise and they were always on hand if we needed anything. Some nice little surprise touches added to the experience such as lovely fresh eggs.

Tips for other travellers

We spent much of our time driving up to Assynt for hiking and to see the incredible scenery. Allow plenty of time for the journeys, they are very worthwhile.

Such a beautiful location! The western wagon is very cosy, all made of wood, and the north-western Highlands are spectacular.

Tips for other travellers

Bring binoculars to spot the dolphins and sea birds in the loch from the terrace. The Ardessie Falls are quite spectacular and really close-by. If you want to have dinner in Ullapool, make sure you make a reservation. Rural Inns may be the better option.
