The lodge had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic. Plenty of walks nearby. Sat outside in the mornings drinking my tea and listening to the birds singing throughout the forest. I would highly recommend Cairngorm lodges as a place to stay.

We ate at The Boat Inn in Aboyne. The food was lovely. It has a good choice of gluten free options too.

I stayed at Woodcutters Cabin when in the Cairngorms for a hillwalking weekend. The cabin was ideal for my needs. Good location. Bed was comfortable. It was clean and cozy. I would stay again if in the area.

The White Mounth Munros circuit is half an hour’s drive from the cabin, so it’s well located if hill walking is your thing. There’s also Morven, a great Corbett walk, only two miles from the cabin. Walkable from the cabin.
