Had the best stay most magical place I have been too Sarah our host was lovely Told us where to go etc we went on seven sisters walk in ballanter , we went to balmoral for the day to the castle beautiful walks there , we went to burn 0 fat it was beautiful in a cave , we done loch kin cord which was amazing , our cabin was amazing the fire and so cozy everything you needed we loved it that much we have booked for Xmas and we will def be back for summer it’s my favourite place now

We went to the boat inn amazing food aboyne fifteen minutes away staff was amazing and with your dog too , we went to balmoral arms in ballanter which was amazing the chip shop in ballanter was very good only 15 minutes drive and not to forget the amazing Indian in ballater and we found the local pub that is walking distance from cabin only open Thursday to Sunday but at the weekend have live music such a fantastic. Stay and beautiful walks it was mine and husband anniversary it was perfect in every way

Really enjoyed our stay, it was incredibly relaxing. It's a perfect mix of being in nature, but also being within 15 minutes of supermarkets and decent restaurants if needed.

For a fancier meal - Fish Shop in Ballater was properly good seafood though not cheap
