Unfortunately we did not see much wildlife during our stay, just some blue tits and a woodpecker. Went after a storm end of october. All the other residents who wrote in the book seemed to see lots though!

A beautiful place to stay amidst gorgeous surroundings. The. Cabin was a lovely, cosy hideaway for a night, wish we could have stayed longer

Tips for other travellers
Take a trip to Aboyne, beautiful village with a lovely pub called The Boat . Fab food and a lovely atmosphere by the river. Local garage up the road checked my car when there was an issue, couldn't recommend this area highly enough for the friendly locals and welcome . Used Fraser's Taxi and Dee's taxi , both brilliant with lots of recommendations for the local area. The snow road over Braemar is well worth a drive- there's even a cafe at the summit!

Could definitely do with a washing machine installing. I would imagine most people staying there are doing something active. An hours drive to the launderette is a pain.
