Tips for other travellers

Pub a two minute walk, very welcoming. Lovely walks along the river Swale and across to Muker. Richmond for its market square and castle. Hawes for Tuesday auction and market and Wensleydale cheese.

We’ve just had a wonderfully relaxing four nights in The Old Cobblers Shop where the September hot weather was such an added bonus.The cottage is immaculate with absolutely everything you could need & the lovely owners live a few doors away & really care that you have all you need.Sitting outside you can hear a pin drop,so peaceful.It is in a prime position to set off for many walks.We will definitely return!

Tips for other travellers

The pub is only open a few days a week & any shops are a car ride away but this cottage has a decent size freezer.An excellent location for a variety of walks.
