Very beautiful area very peaceful. I enjoyed having a go in the row boat on the lake and to see the ducks

Wonderful place to stay for a relaxing time. Ideal in the summer where the lake keeps things cool. Have been before and we will definitely stay there again

The Tally Ho! pub down the road is fabulous - love those buffalo burgers!

The venue is fantastic! Tranquil (as we had it all to ourselves!) Everything that was promised on the Web site was there, including duck food (an absolute necessity, due to the feathered visitors!) Lovely open fire, great shelter for eating your home barbecued food, and so relaxing with no noise apart from nature. Probably the best 2 days away we've ever had in this country!!

Salisbury is a beautiful city about 10ish miles away and Winchester is an equally beautiful city ( about 10 miles in the opposite direction!) The local village pub is excellent, with good food and great beer. Stockbridge is the nearest village with lots of good eateries and a wide selection of pubs as well.
