The Meadow Glamping

Uno de los lugares más llenos de encanto que he conocido, podes conectar con la naturaleza, dejar atrás el ruido de la ciudad y tener un descanso de tu rutina diaria. Volvería una y otra vez sin dudarlo. Fue genial poder montar en el bote de remos, jugar al tenis, encender mi propia fogata y disfrutar el canto de los pájaros.

I booked a 2 night stay as a surprise for my husbands birthday. We both had an amazing time. We stayed on The Magic Rat and it was brilliant. We loved the bespoke interior and it had one of the comfiest beds we have slept on! I was completely out of my comfort zone having a toilet and shower that were seperate to where I was staying. The compost toilet was a stones throw from TMR, and was very clean and did not smell at all. I loved that each unit has its own shower. It was a short walk away, but it was a good shower with an endless supply of hot water! We loved that we were on our very own island, with an outside fireplace and BBQ. We made use of Mel's shelter when it rained, it was so peaceful sitting outside listening to the rain. The ducks were entertaining and very friendly and came to visit us a few times. We loved our stay, and will definitely be booking again!

3rd visit so clearly we love staying here. So peaceful and a beautiful location. Just glorious. Facilities are top notch. Lovely hosts. And an absolute bargain to boot. A great escape for everyday chaos.

We really enjoyed our stay on The Magic Rat. The weather was good which was a bonus and evenings in front of the fire surrounded by ducks was wonderful. We will definitely be coming back.
