Its a 2 min walk to the centre and the train station is a stones throw. Great spot.

The place was spotless and well equipped. Location within easy walking distance of town centre. Any minor queries I had were dealt with promptly and helpfully. My entire dealings with the proprietors has been faultless. Stairs to bedroom probably need mentioning quite steep and narrow but safe with bannister.Bed very comfortable.

We found a lovely restaurant(which we had thought a public house) called The Malt Shovel - price in keeping with top restaurant. We also enjoyed a snack/small platter lunch at The Mother Shipton Pub. A fair distance away but Whitby well worth the trip. Eat at Trenchers!! lovely fish. York a must but car parking pricey !!

It was lovely to be met by Robert on our arrival, to take the time to go through some things and to reassure us he was on hand should we need anything. Although Robert & Karen were close, we were given complete privacy and felt at ease in the beautiful apartment.

Tips for other travellers

Knaresborough is such a fantastic location, really central. Roughly 1/2 drive to York, Harrogate and many other towns. We loved going to Mother Shiptons pub which is 15 minutes walk from the apartment. Beer garden on the river, lovely food, friendly staff. Scone and tea in the Lavender rooms in the square in Knaresborough isa must. Loads of different pubs and restaurants in Knaresborough...absolutely loads to do.
