A lovely warm welcome and a yummy welcome pack await all visitors at Ballat Smithy Cottage. The cottage is well equipped, with many basics supplied and clean and fresh on arrival.

The Aizle was perfect for lunch or afternoon tea and a lovely gift shop too. the garden centre on the way to Aberfoyle also a lovely lunch. Bakers and Butchers/greengrocer in Drymen excellent and lovely walks on the east bank of Loch Lomond easily accessible

The cottage is beautiful and the welcome provisions (mince pies, milk, jam, oatcakes, bread, butter and cheese) were very much appreciated. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfy. The owner was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The cottage is in a perfect location to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The Drymen Inn provided a very tasty evening meal. The nearby Glengoyne Distillery is worth visiting.

Cottage is based near Stirling, handy for shopping/eating out. Castles everywhere what are really good and interesting. Not far from the lovely views of loch lomond.
