First time to Millport it is lovely , the flat we had was very nice , spotlessly clean and not far from centre . We went at new year time , we didn’t see all the wee shops as it is local holidays . But we will definitely go back .

Had a few problems the first night as there was no heating in the bathroom. Also the bed had some broken spars resulting in myself having to sleep on the settee..when we contacted sandra she was prompt in moving us next door while she tried to rectify the problems..the bed was obviously broken by the previous tenants and not passed on to yourselves..the other flat was very good but a microwave would be a good addition..

Thank you for your review Colin, and once again please accept our apologies for the issues you encountered on your first night. The two spars on the bed that had been cracked are now mended and as for the towel rail it is being professionally repaired. I am glad that we were able to move you to the other flat for your comfort and that it met with your approval. As for a microwave, it is something that we have thought about supplying for guest use but as it would take away from counter space we decided against installing one, however it is something we will revisit. All in all I am glad you had a nice visit to the island and we hope to host you and your family again if you ever decide to pay another visit either at the flats in town or, as before, at the farm. Our second time staying in On yer Bike and brought my mum and dad this time and they stayed in ‘Gone fishin’. The 2 flats are fantastic, great location and lovely to have my folks just across the hall! Ideal. Thank you.
