Morebattle is lovely, the cottage itself too, super clean and spacious - we loved our stay there and would come back any time. It's perfect for dogs, with the big field right behind the cottage.

This is our 4th year of using the cottage to meet up with friends in the area. The beds are comfortable and the cottage is clean. The kitchen has everything you would need.

Would recommend visiting the Harestanes visitor centre. Loads of great walks and dog friendly cafe.

Perfect location in a beautiful village. Accessibility to St. Cuthberts Way is second to none. Facilities in The Old Dairy accommodation are more than adequate. Parking (always an issue) is guaranteed - couldn't be better. Services in the village ease ones's stay with an outstanding village shop. Thoroughly and unreservedly recommended.

Tips for other travellers

Walkers will find the accommodation is right on the long distance path St. Cuthberts Way. Access to hill walks is straightforward. Use the village store - it has everything including advice and a great welcome. Bus service runs through the village...very useful.
