Lovely cottage, very comfortable and super clean. It has all the equipment, you need for a great self catering stay.Host Robert, responds quickly to communication and is always helpful. We had to delay our arrival and Robert ensured we had ease of entry. The cottage is situated, with a lovely view and chairs and tables are provided, to sit out at the back. It's great to sit out, and it's possible to enjoy the sun throughout the day.

Tips for other travellers
The cottage is situated in a lovely friendly village. There is a great community shop which stocks essentials and other great items. The Templehall Hotel next door to the cottage is great, staff very friendly. Good selection of beers, including a local one. Food and service is excellent. Morebattle is an excellent base for touring the beautiful Border area.Great towns and many historic places to visit. It’s great for walking the hills, situated on St Cuthbert's way. Locally there is a lovely river walk.

Morebattle is lovely, the cottage itself too, super clean and spacious - we loved our stay there and would come back any time. It's perfect for dogs, with the big field right behind the cottage.

This is our 4th year of using the cottage to meet up with friends in the area. The beds are comfortable and the cottage is clean. The kitchen has everything you would need.

Would recommend visiting the Harestanes visitor centre. Loads of great walks and dog friendly cafe.
