Shawn was so helpful throughout out the booking process and during our stay at the most wonderful 'Brodgar Cottage' on the Stenness causeway. The cottage was instantly welcoming and was really well placed centrally in Orkney for all the fantastic adventures we had on the islands. Shawn's advice about the islands was invaluable to our weeks stay and really helped us decide on where, what and when to visit different parts of the islands. The views from all the windows were like looking at fine art. The cottage and location are just fantastic. Thank you so much Shawn for letting this fabulous cottage out! A very blessed to have stayed at Brodgar, Simon.

So much to see and do. We enjoyed the Western mainland the most with Swail Beach being a real favourite. It also happens to have the wonderful Skara Brae as well! The Ferry Inn in Stenness serves a fantastic dinner and the shops, galleries and craft places in Kirkwall can take up a day. Thanks Orkney for being all I hoped your islands would be. Can't wait to visit again. Simon

Sean is a great guy who really cares about making sure his guests are aware of the many delights that Orkney has to offer and is always quick to respond.

Having stayed in winter I can confirm that it is an excellent place to chase the northern lights and to do some first class star gazing. Brodgar, nearby Yesnaby and the west mainland in general offer amazing levels of darkness. The whole west coast from the delightful village of Stromness to Viking Birsay are a treat with Bay of Skaill being one of my favourite locations to just 'be'.
