A lovely cosy cottage with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were really comfortable and the owner met us on arrival and was very informative. The situation is outstanding with beautiful views of the loch and the Ring of Brodger. It was also perfectly placed for visiting the many incredible sites in Orkney mainland. We highly recommend it.

There can't be a better place to stay in Orkney, between two lochs and two stone circles. If you interested in archaeology you are right in it, next to the former dig at the Ness of Brodgar. The cottage is cosy with a very well equipped kitchen and wonderful views of water and sky from the sitting room. Stromness is 15 mins drive, with supermarket, pubs etc. We hope to go back again.

The location within a UNESCO World Heritage Site is exceptionally special. For anyone interested in heritage and landscape this is a perfect location to experience both, along with the amazing wildlife. The cottage itself is cosy and well equipped with amazing views from the living room.
