The house and rooms were exquisite. We were travelling with our son so we'd booked two rooms for two nights. Both rooms were wonderfully equipped and had everything that a visitor could ask for. The house itself is located in a quiet area, while being just a few minutes' walk away from great restaurants and cafes (as well as a Spar) and, of course, book stores! Our exceptional host, Linda, provided us with a plentiful, delicious breakfast that was delivered to our rooms picnic basket-style. Fresh milk and homemade cake was always on offer, and our rooms were thoughtfully provided with a variety of teas and coffee. The cosy area outside of our rooms was well stocked with dishes, drinking glasses and cutlery. Linda was very kind in providing us with restaurant and hiking/walking information. We would definitely book again!

Me and my friend had a great 2 night stay in the twin room. The continental breakfast was great on both days. Linda our host was really welcoming and gave us hints, tips and recommendations for the area. A really great stay and would love to go back. Thank you!

The location of the B and B was excellent - a short walk into the village with options to eat and drink. There are a lot of interesting and quirky shops. The surrounding area is great for walking and within a short drive away from Hereford and the Brecon Beacons.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maple House. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was a great idea and so delightful to have all the different jars delivered in a beautiful hamper. Both delicious and healthy. The use of a joint fridge was handy and lovely to have 'cake of the day'!! Our host was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed visiting the lovely shops, bookshops and galleries in Hay and were lucky enough to visit on Market Day. Treetops Cafe was great for coffee, cake and picnic benches right by the river. Had a lovely walk to the warren and saw a variety of birds. We ate out at The Blue Boar and the Swan - both serving good food. Hay on Wye is a lovely town in a beautiful setting.
