A wonderful experience, the room was lovely,and immaculately clean, bed so comfortable and the breakfast basket was delicious..would 100% reccomend thanks Linda for being so welcoming :)

From the minute we arrived at Maple House we were welcomed and felt at home. Linda was a brilliant host with great local knowledge and excellent facilities. Super comfy bed, great rest after lots of exploring. We are already planning a return visit! Its a 5 minute walk into Hay and a great base for exploring the wider area.

Tips for other travellers

Booksbooksbooks! So many incredible bookshops for every taste and interest, from Poetry and Gay-on-Wye to comics and crime. Local history is fascinating and Hay Castle is fun, there is no shortage of great food - particularly the Cosy Cafe and Tomatitos. Tom's Records, Small Stories and Amlen also stood out for us. More accessible than it looks and very dog friendly.

Just a wonderful homely feeling. Everything a B&B should be. Everything an air B&B by its nature cant be.
